Boston Rehabilitation Center/Shore Point Recovery is a premier behavioral health facility dedicated to transforming lives through compassionate, individualized care. Our Wareham facility is a 35-bed detox and residential treatment center, providing 24/7 support for individuals recovering from substance use disorders.
Position Overview:
We are seeking Contracted Group Facilitators to lead dynamic and impactful group therapy sessions for clients in our 35-bed detox and residential program. As a contracted team member, you will deliver therapeutic group interventions that support clients in developing coping strategies, understanding addiction, and building a strong foundation for recovery.
We are hiring group facilitators to facilitate groups on the weekends only. Groups run on Saturday & Sunday from 10am-12pm and 1pm-3pm. Candidate can facilitate however many number of groups they're available for. The hourly pay for the role is $75/hr-$100/hr based on experience and licensure.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate engaging and therapeutic group sessions focused on topics such as addiction recovery, coping strategies, relapse prevention, and life skills
Utilize evidence-based approaches to address the needs of clients in various stages of recovery
Create a safe and supportive environment that encourages client participation and growth
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of group sessions in compliance with regulatory standards
Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure group sessions align with individualized treatment plans and overall program goals
Provide educational materials and resources to clients to enhance their recovery journey
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field required
Active licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent (REQUIRED)
Experience facilitating group therapy in substance abuse treatment or behavioral health settings required
Strong understanding of addiction recovery models, group dynamics, and evidence-based practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and engagement in group settings
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
