POSITION OVERVIEW:
This role provides support to the Baseball Communications & Media Relations department, which serves as the liaison between the media and the ball club for all team-related public relations, including interview requests, credentialing, baseball information, and the production of daily game information and other press materials.
The base salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000 based on relevant experience. Additionally, this position qualifies for annual incentive pay along with our comprehensive benefits package.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review, approve, and generate season and daily media credentials.
- Create media seating assignments in the press box for home games.
- Maintain the press box, including the distribution of game notes, lineup sheets, and other materials for home games.
- Contribute to daily pre-game notes.
- Compile and distribute post-game notes during home games.
- Draft, proofread, and editing press releases.
- Compile and send Red Sox-related news clips to front office and media daily.
- Direct daily media requests, including interview requests, baseball information requests, and credentialing.
- Provide office and administrative assistance as assigned by members of the Baseball Communications & Media Relations department.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field required.
- Working knowledge of Major League Baseball’s online credentialing system preferred.
- Working knowledge of baseball and statistics.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Sharp technical skills and aptitude for learning new applications.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Must be able work hours consistent with MLB schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
