The Data Imager/Scanner reports directly to Manager – Record Management.
The Data Imager/Scanner is responsible for accurately providing scanning support to multiple departments within Boston Mutual while maintaining the highest levels of service professionalism in all they do.
The Data Imager/Scanner is expected to:
Education: High School Diploma required
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of office or customer service experience required.

The Data Imager/Scanner reports directly to Manager – Record Management.
The Data Imager/Scanner is responsible for accurately providing scanning support to multiple departments within Boston Mutual while maintaining the highest levels of service professionalism in all they do.
The Data Imager/Scanner is expected to:
- Prep files for scanning.
- Scan files and all associated documentation (claim forms, medical records, correspondence, worksheets, policy language and other materials included within the claim file)
- Index each file once documents have been scanned to ensure records can be accessed for future reference.
- Track and log daily production and perform quality control checks on scanned and indexed files to ensure image has a high degree of clarity and readability and record is indexed correctly.
- Participation in department meetings
- Must comply with privacy guidelines; will protect the privacy of customer information
- Participation in organizational wide special projects as assigned.
- Other duties and special projects as required
Education: High School Diploma required
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of office or customer service experience required.
Knowledge Requirements:
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize a high volume of multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to context, substance and detail while meeting goals and strict deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively build and extend relationships.
- Strong computer skills using MS Office.
- Insurance knowledge is a plus.
