Chief Financial Officer (CFO) - Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team
and help lead a growing Federally Qualified Health Center (FQIIC). This is an opportunity to make a
meaningful impact by supporting high-quality, accessible healthcare for underserved communities
while driving financial strength and sustainability.
What You'll Do
As CFO, you will serve as a key advisor to the CEO and Board, providing financial leadership and
oversight across the organization. You will:
• Lead all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Ensure compliance with HRSA, federal, and state requirements
• Oversee FQI IC funding, including Section 330 grants and PPS reimbursement
• Drive revenue cycle performance, including billing and accounts receivable
• Provide financial insights to support growth and strategic initiatives
• Lead audits, cost reporting, and financial risk management
Leadership Responsibilities
You will directly oversee and develop a high-performing finance team, including:
• Accounts Receivable Department
• Financial Manager
• Accounts Payable Specialist
• Financial Assistant
What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
• CPA preferred, but not required
• 7-10 years of progressive financial leadership experience
• Healthcare finance experience required; FQHC experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of reimbursement, grants management, and financial compliance
• Proven ability to lead teams and drive organizational performance
