How You Will Make An Impact
- Coordinate with other program managers to deliver your program into next-gen robotic products
- Partner with functional managers to develop and manage processes for the development of safety-relevant software, perception systems, and AI/ML systems
- Work with functional leads to establish goals, a plan, and a schedule, tracking performance against that plan
- Communicate regularly on status, schedule, risks, and deviations
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Use resource planning to identify bottlenecks, unblock them, and adjust schedules accordingly
- Continually track projects and update stakeholders on top priorities and the critical path
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks to program delivery, and implement effective contingency plans when necessary
- Be a champion for effectively scaling embodied AI safety
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, robotics, or a related field
- 7 years of experience working in large-scale software, robotics, and/or machine learning development environments
- 5 years of program management experience in a professional and product-driven software development environment
- Experience with safety-relevant AI/ML processes (e.g. autonomous vehicles) is a nice-to-have
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in project management software and skills (e.g. JIRA, SmartSheet)
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
