Educational Assistants (EAs) facilitate the SAAS structured study hall program by serving as motivators, academic coaches, learning assistants, and strategy tutors. Responsibilities include assisting with organization, time management, academic skill development, and effective study strategies as student-athletes complete weekly academic objectives while balancing time demands.
EAs must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, attention to detail, and situational awareness. Assigned individual and/or groups of students, EAs must assist students through multiple time demands, distractions, and commitments while working alongside other hourly and full-time SAAS colleagues. Furthermore, EAs must work with students from diverse backgrounds, including those with learning disabilities or other unique academic challenges.
The starting rate for the EA temp pool hires is $23/hr.
