Let’s start with an introduction. We are Boston Cooling, a franchise of 1-800 Radiators. To keep it simple, we sell auto parts, but mainly Interstate Battery brand batteries, radiators, and A/Cs. Our customers can purchase our products at one of our retail stores or by delivery.
About the Position
You will work as a Box Truck Driver/Inventory Coordinator, responsible for accurately picking, palletizing, and transferring automotive parts and batteries between our Boston Cooling and Boston Battery warehouse locations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Jersey.
When not on the road, you will be assigned inventory-related projects and warehouse support duties by the Operations Manager. This is a full-time position, and travel between locations will be required as business needs dictate.
Your hourly rate of pay will be between $22.00 and $25.00 per hour, depending on previous experience. Your schedule will be Monday – Friday, from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm.
To be successful, you must be reliable, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and comfortable working both in a warehouse environment and operating company vehicles.
Job Responsibilities
• Accurately pick parts and pack products for safe transport between warehouse locations
• Receive inventory, organize products on shelving, and scan items into location using tablets and handheld scanners
• Safely operate a company box truck (up to 26,000 GVW) while following all traffic laws, company policies, and pre-trip inspection procedures
• Assist with inventory projects and warehouse organization as assigned
• Occasionally unload shipping containers of product at warehouse locations
• Occasionally assist as a delivery driver during peak periods or to cover employee absences
• Follow company policies, procedures, and work as a team whether in the warehouse or on the road

High school diploma or equivalent education
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Current DOT Medical Card required
• Experience driving trucks preferred
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in random or post-accident testing
• Previous warehouse experience and experience using warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.) preferred
• Ability to lift and carry products and perform physical job duties as required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Willingness and ability to travel to different warehouse locations as directed
