Job description:
We are looking for a motivated and organized college student to join our team as a summer intern! If you love sports, sales/marketing, social media, and event planning, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing a growing league in Boston.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in organizing and managing leagues’ teams & schedules
• Maintain and update the league website with schedules, scores, and announcements
• Manage social media accounts to engage with members and promote the league
• Help create marketing campaigns to attract new players and sponsors
• Assist with administrative tasks such as responding to emails, processing registrations, and updating databases
• Support event planning for league meetings, tournaments, and social gatherings
Skills and Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled college university studying business, marketing, sports management, or other related field
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in social media platforms
• Ability to work independently, someone who is a motivated self-starter
• Passion for sports and community engagement
• Current or previous athletes are a plus!
Duration: This internship will ideally run from May through August. This can be flexible for the right candidate.
This is a part time internship with flexible hours, perfect for a student looking to gain experience in sports management, business operations, and sales/marketing. We are looking to compensate this intern based on the needs and success of the business (hourly performance incentives).
