NuVu Summer is celebrating its 11th year with an exciting and engaging program designed for middle and high school students. After a three-year hiatus, we are thrilled to bring back our MIT summer program, featuring 21 innovative studios that explore a wide range of topics. NuVu’s mission is to redefine creative education by equipping young designers, entrepreneurs, makers, and inventors with the tools to make a meaningful impact on their communities and the world. This is a full-time on-site role located in Cambridge, MA, as a Summer Staff member at NuVu Summer. The Summer Staff will engage with students in collaborative studio environments, support creative learning, provide guidance as students develop innovative projects, and assist in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the program. The role requires actively fostering a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere for all participants and supporting instructors in the delivery of program content.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and excellent Communication abilities
- Ability to conduct Research and generate creative ideas
- Effective Writing skills for documentation and project-related tasks
- Passion for education, creativity, and empowering youth through innovative learning
- Prior experience working in educational or collaborative settings is highly desirable
- Background in design, innovation, or related fields is a plus
- Demonstrated adaptability and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
