Position Summary
As our Founding HRBP, you are the heartbeat of BA’s U.S. expansion. You will not only "hunt" the elite sales talent needed to scale from 0 to 1 but also architect the entire employee lifecycle—from complex commission calculations to high-stakes leadership coaching.
What You’ll Do
- Strategic Business Partnership: Serve as the primary HR Business Partner to the U.S. commercial organization, providing dedicated support to a high-growth, geographically distributed field workforce.
- Talent Architecture & Growth: Lead end-to-end talent acquisition for field sales and commercial leadership, driving aggressive territory expansion and high-quality "growth hiring" to scale the U.S. footprint.
- Field-Based Employee Relations: Own all employee relations for the U.S. commercial team, managing workplace investigations, performance optimization, and disciplinary actions with legal precision.
- Leadership Coaching: Act as a "Battlefield Coach" for sales leaders, providing strategic guidance on performance management, team engagement, and navigating organizational change.
- Incentive Strategy & Performance Rewards: Partner with Sales Ops and Finance to administer and refine sales incentive compensation programs, ensuring accurate, performance-driven payouts for field teams.
- Benefits Strategy & Execution: Lead U.S. benefits administration, collaborating with brokers and vendors to optimize renewals, employee communications, and daily support for all team members.
- Regulatory & Policy Stewardship: Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (specifically California), overseeing regulations, leave management, and field-specific legal requirements.
- Cross-Functional Workforce Planning: Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and Sales Operations on headcount strategy, workforce analytics, and the mitigation of employee-related business risks.
- HR Infrastructure & Vendor Management: Oversee the ecosystem of HR vendors and systems (Payroll, HRIS, ATS, Benefits), ensuring seamless operations and continuous process improvement.
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage HR metrics and organizational insights to empower leadership decision-making and drive continuous operational excellence.
What We’re Looking For
- Industry & Strategic Depth: 7 years of progressive HR experience, with a proven track record as an HRBP supporting medical aesthetics or MedTech commercial organizations.
- Field-First Leadership: Extensive expertise in managing employee relations for geographically distributed teams, including real-time leadership coaching, workplace investigations, and strategic performance interventions.
- Commercial Operations: Direct, hands-on experience in the administration of sales incentive programs and the execution of HR initiatives tailored for field-based commercial teams.
- Multi-State Regulatory Mastery: Deep functional knowledge of U.S. employment law across multiple jurisdictions, with a specific focus on California compliance and field-specific labor regulations.
- Executive Partnership: Demonstrated ability to serve as a strategic advisor to senior commercial leadership, translating high-level business goals into actionable people strategies.
- Mobility & Engagement: Willingness to travel to field locations as needed to foster strong connections with regional leaders and remote employees.
- Entrepreneurial Agility: A "hands-on" HR architect who thrives in rapidly scaling, 0-to-1 environments where adaptability and bias for action are essential.

Salary : $110,000 - $150,000
