We are seeking a Production Leader to oversee daily plant operations, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and consistency on the production line, including service shops. This role involves leading front-line manufacturing teams, planning departmental operations, and executing strategies to meet production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage hourly manufacturing employees across multiple shifts
- Hire, train, and develop talent while providing ongoing feedback and performance evaluations
- Coordinate production operations across all shifts via supervisors and team leads
- Drive improvements in cycle time, production efficiency, and cost reduction strategies
- Apply technical expertise and analytical thinking to solve complex manufacturing challenges
- Serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues and mentor team members
- Ensure production meets quality, volume, and timeliness standards
- Assist with resource allocation, operator training, and production issue resolution
- Lead small projects and implement best practices for continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3–5 years of production supervision experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Knowledge of production processes, operational metrics, and cost control
