CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist will operate and maintain CNC lathes and milling machines to produce precision parts. This role requires setup, programming, and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure high-quality production. Working primarily as an individual contributor on either day or night shifts, the machinist will follow blueprints closely and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and career growth. must be able to train on 1st shift.

Responsibilities

• Set up CNC lathes and milling machines for production runs
• Develop and modify CNC programs for efficient machining
• Calibrate tools and equipment to maintain accuracy
• Perform quality inspections to ensure product specifications
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot machinery issues
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
• Handle materials and prepare them for machining processes
• Monitor production progress and report inconsistencies

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in CNC machining
• Proficient in CNC programming and machine operation
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Skilled in precision measurement and tool setup
• Mechanical aptitude and effective problem-solving
• Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness
• Capable of working independently and within a team
• Willingness to participate in formal and on-the-job training
