Position Summary
This position is much more than simply driving from point A to point B.
Our Delivery Driver is a key part of our weekly operation, responsible for vendor pickups, grocery runs, customer deliveries, and ensuring every order reaches its destination in perfect condition. Success in this role requires excellent organization, strong attention to detail, professionalism, and outstanding time management.

Tuesday's vendor pickups and shopping lay the foundation for a successful production week, while Friday's deliveries ensure our customers receive the exceptional quality and service they're expecting. Every interaction reflects our brand, and every stop contributes to our success.
This position is ideal for someone who currently drives for Instacart, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Spark, Amazon Flex, or similar platforms and is looking to supplement their income with consistent, scheduled weekly work—without relying entirely on unpredictable gig app demand.

For Tuesdays (Approximately 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM)
Tasks include:
- Pick up supplies from the owner's home before beginning the route.
- Complete scheduled vendor pickups (typically three local vendors).
- Shop our Restaurant Depot order.
- Complete occasional local pickups or errands as needed.
- Return all products and supplies safely to our production kitchen.
For Fridays (Approximately 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM)
Tasks include:
- Deliver multi-order meal drops to local gyms.
- Complete approximately 10–15 home deliveries per route using optimized routing software.
- Typical Friday consists of approximately three delivery routes.
- Deliver shipping boxes to UPS or FedEx.
- Ensure every order is delivered accurately, professionally, and in excellent condition.
General Position Responsibilities
- Safely transport meals and supplies throughout the Syracuse area.
- Verify every order before loading and again before delivery.
- Use our smartphone delivery application to navigate routes, complete deliveries, and communicate order status.
- Handle meals carefully to maintain presentation and food quality.
- Maintain organization inside your vehicle throughout each route.
- Communicate any delivery issues promptly.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service when interacting with clients.
- Represent BOSS Meal Prep with professionalism at all vendor and customer locations.
- Assist with basic quality control by identifying missing items, damaged packaging, or other issues before deliveries leave the kitchen.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable personal vehicle.
- Smartphone capable of running delivery routing software.
- Comfortable using navigation and delivery apps.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Dependable and self-motivated.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable lifting meal bags, grocery orders, and supplies weighing up to approximately 50 pounds.
Vehicle Requirements
Because our vendor pickups & client deliveries often include multiple large boxes or multiple customer orders, your vehicle should have adequate cargo space.
Preferred vehicles include:
- SUV
- Minivan
- Cargo van
