Sales Agent, Boss Frog's Dive and Surf

Boss Frog’s Dive and Surf is seeking highly-motivated sales people for our Maui locations. We have 8 locations on west and Kihei areas of Maui renting everything you can think of for the beach, booking island activities, and external marketing for an island resort.

Hours are generally between 7:45am - 5:00pm, westside Cannery to Napili. Weekends may be required.

Compensation: Hourly plus commission. Depending on shifts assigned may include one or more of the following:
--$25 per hour flat rate on days as shop assistant, assisting another agent at a shop.
--$15 to 18 per hour plus commission on retail, rental, activities and other sales (est. $23-$28/hour) dependent on whether working a shop alone as a permanent assignment or when covering a shop for the day.

Paid vacation/PTO and health care benefits. 401k after 90 days. Other perks.

Essential Job Functions:
Computer sales applications
Renting beach equipment (snorkel gear, surf boards, chairs, etc.)
Selling/booking tourist activities
Maintain shop in clean and orderly manner

Strong candidates possess the following attributes:
Thorough knowledge of Maui, with ability to explain activities, restaurants, and destinations
Prefer 6 months experience selling or booking tours/activities or in retail and/or timeshare industry
Prefer 6 months living on island
Strong ability to sell and book activities, services and goods, and fit customers with gear
Ability to operate in a fast paced retail environment, multi-task and balance priorities
Strong, professional verbal, interpersonal, guest relations, and etiquette skills, at work, via e-mail, and by phone
High school Diploma or equivalent
Computer proficiency with the ability to learn
Project a professional company image and attitude
Fluency in English (speak, read, write)

Boss Frog’s Dive and Surf is an established company that has been operating on Maui for almost 30 years. The positions are true “salesperson” positions with high earnings potential for motivated employees. The company is looking for a long-term, career-orientated employee dedicated to making the most of the Company’s extensive online and print advertising, which drives leads into each Boss Frog’s location. The position is also fun and engaging for salespersons who enjoy Maui’s activities and adventures. Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
