What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales and Rental Agent position at Boss Frog's Dive and Surf?
Boss Frog’s Dive and Surf is seeking highly-motivated sales people for Kauai locations. We have three locations on Kauai renting everything you can think of for the beach and booking island activities.
Hours are between 7:45am - 5:00pm. Weekends may be required.
Compensation: Hourly plus commission.
Paid vacation/PTO and health care benefits. 401k after 90 days. Other perks.
Essential Job Functions:
Computer sales applications
Renting beach equipment (snorkel gear, surf boards, chairs, etc.)
Selling/booking tourist activities
Maintain shop in clean and orderly manner
Strong candidates possess the following attributes:
Thorough knowledge of Kauai, with ability to explain activities, restaurants, and destinations
Prefer 6 months experience selling or booking tours/activities or in retail and/or timeshare industry
Prefer 6 months living on island
Strong ability to sell and book activities, services and goods, and fit customers with gear
Ability to operate in a fast paced retail environment, multi-task and balance priorities
Strong, professional verbal, interpersonal, guest relations, and etiquette skills, at work, via e-mail, and by phone
High school Diploma or equivalent
Computer proficiency with the ability to learn
Project a professional company image and attitude
Fluency in English (speak, read, write)

Boss Frog’s Dive and Surf and Hawaiian Style Activities are established companies that has been operating on Maui and other islands for over 30 years. The positions are true “salesperson” positions with high earnings potential for motivated employees. The company is looking for a long-term, career-orientated employee dedicated to making the most of the Company’s extensive online and print advertising, which drives leads into each Boss Frog’s location. The position is also fun and engaging for salespersons who enjoy Kauai's activities and adventures. Some Boss Frog’s employees have worked at the Company for 20 years and recognize the benefit of an established company that provides reliable leads to assist with a salesperson’s earnings.
Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
