Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented IE Co-op to join our BPS (Bosch Production System) and TEF6 (Technical Function) team in Fountain Inn, United States. This cooperative education opportunity will provide hands-on experience in business process systems and industrial engineering applications, allowing you to apply your academic knowledge to real-world scenarios.
- Assist in analyzing and documenting business processes using BPS methodologies
- Support the TEF6 IE group with time studies, AutoCAD and SolidWorks designs, and project work as needed
- Collect and analyze data to identify areas for process improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement solutions
- Prepare reports and presentations on project findings and recommendations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in the development of operator work instructions as needed
- Support the team in various industrial engineering projects as needed
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
- Minimum GPA 2.5
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Basic understanding of business process analysis and industrial engineering principles
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Enthusiasm for learning and applying new concepts in a professional setting
- Relevant coursework or academic projects in process improvement, data analysis, or industrial engineering
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
