As a Landscape Designer/Sales, you are responsible for meeting with clients, understanding their requirements, and creating detailed designs and plans, and manage client accounts to ensure client satisfaction and alignment with their vision. You should have excellent knowledge of various plants and their growth requirements, understand aesthetic design principles, and be able to work within budget constraints.
In this role, your primary responsibilities involve developing and presenting both conceptual and schematic designs for construction site plans, while also creating visually compelling graphics using hand drawings and advanced design software tailored for residential landscapes. Attention to detail is essential to prepare comprehensive documents, plans, and renderings that clearly communicate the design vision to clients. Executing these site plans necessitates a deep understanding of grading, drainage, and intricate planting designs, all while assessing and analyzing the site conditions, including soil quality, slope, drainage, and existing vegetation. You must be comfortable with collaborating with the construction team to ensure the design plans are accurately realized in the field. This role requires effective negotiation of contracts with clients and vendors, along with the preparation of necessary documents for local approvals and permits.
You must possess excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly and effectively to clients. You must prior sales experience in the landscape industry, with a strong understanding of plants and horticulture to tailor designs to meet specific client specifications.
