- Ideal candidate should possess a thorough understanding of craft beer and wine (Will train)
- He or she should also be familiar with current trends in craft beer, upcoming releases
- Build customer confidence by making the store experience interactive, engaging and reassuring
- Maximize customer experience by uncovering needs and offering solutions
- Maintain the visual appeal of the store
- Develop positive customer relationships
- Ensures customers are greeted and waited on quickly, efficiently and in a pleasant manner
- Assist in stocking and organizing displays ensuring that all merchandise is presented in a professional manner
- Assigned to operate the cash register, promote sales and assist customers
- Assigned to the stock room quality controlling, processing, pricing and stocking merchandise
- Resolve customer complaints and handle merchandise returns in a pleasant and professional manner
- Responsible for following and ensuring all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous retail or customer service-oriented experience preferred
- Ability to listen carefully and actively
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- General physical abilities to perform the clerical, cashier, merchandising and supervisory functions of the job
- Ability to lift and/or move heavy objects or to assist in this process
- Availability for flexible scheduling
