As an Attorney, you will be instrumental in providing legal counsel and representation, particularly in areas such as litigation and landlord-tenant law. Have experience with discovery, trial preparation and related civil litigation matters. Research and analyze law sources, prepare legal documents.
- Manage landlord-tenant law cases, providing guidance and representation to clients.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the law office to strategize on litigation matters.
- Conduct thorough legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
- Draft legal documents and pleadings with precision, focusing on landlord-tenant law and litigation.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' interests in court proceedings.
Knowledge of Landlord/Tenancy Law required.
Familiarity with judicial council form software, drafting of legal notices and form complaints. Team player.
