- Serve as the primary HR point of contact for warehouse employees addressing concerns promptly and promoting a positive, inclusive workplace culture.
- Conduct regular touch bases with Operations Managers to understand HR needs, discuss staffing priorities, and align on recruiting, employee relations, and engagement initiatives.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations issues to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment for warehouse and operations roles, including:
- Reviewing and screening incoming resumes and applications
- Coordinating and scheduling interviews with hiring managers and candidates
- Assisting with interview preparation and selection processes
- Maintaining communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Managing job postings and applicant tracking in HRIS (Rippling preferred)
- Extending offers to candidates
- Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for all warehouse employees.
- Coordinate pre-employment screening processes, including background and reference checks when applicable.
- Support employee engagement and retention programs that align with company values.
- Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records, ensuring HRIS data integrity.
- Support benefits enrollment and assist employees with benefits-related questions.
- Generate reports and track HR metrics to support decision-making and identify trends.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as OFCCP requirements where applicable.
- Contribute to HR projects such as policy updates, process improvements, and training initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a generalist capacity with exposure to recruiting.
- Experience supporting retail operations, warehouse, logistics, or operations teams strongly preferred.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment in a fast-paced environment.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems such as Rippling.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft, and Adobe software tools.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence and support multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- High level of discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
