We are currently hiring a full-time Maintenance Tech I to join our growing team and support our operation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform/assist with scheduled P.M.’s on equipment and record all necessary data as required and in accordance with Company SOP’s and work instructions.
• Keep Maintenance Management informed of all developments on a routine basis.
• Per instruction complete required paperwork and documentation, work orders and P.M. documents in a clear, accurate and in a timely manner.
• Work additional hours to complete repairs to accommodate business needs.
• Work schedule may vary to accommodate manufacturing/processing functions (weekends/shifts).
• Assist with facility operations such as minor electrical, mechanical and HVAC components.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace at all times.
• Ensure the security of the building and property during shift.
• Operate snow removal equipment when necessary.
• Assist with maintaining boiler operation on weekends when necessary.
• Assist with maintaining chiller operation on the weekend when necessary.
• Assist maintenance personnel with pump house checks on fire pump system during shift.
• Check alarm notifications during shift.
• Must wear the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment for the assigned task.
• Comply and support company quality policies and procedures.
• Miscellaneous duties as required or requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Entry level repair and maintenance experience
• Excellent English verbal and reading skills
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Flexibility of schedule to accommodate facility needs
• Ability to work alone or on a team
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl as needed
• Fork truck operations preferred
• Scissor lift operation preferred

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
