Key Responsibilities
- Prepare AutoCAD drawings, FF&E plans, color schemes, sketches, and presentation materials.
- Review architectural drawings for compliance with VA TIL standards.
- Develop procurement packages (SOWs, specifications, IGCEs, bid sheets, budgets).
- Coordinate delivery, installation, and punch‑list completion with vendors.
- Maintain the Interior Design Resource Library and project documentation.
- Oversee installation crews and ensure compliance with ABAAS, ICC, OSHA, NFPA, and VA guidelines.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication and support transition planning and move‑in activities.
- Familiarity with Patient Centered Care culture in healthcare.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Skilled in freehand and scaled drawing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred: NCIDQ, PMP, EDAC, LEED.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct on‑site measurements and walkthroughs.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
- Extended periods of computer work.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Background check may be required.
