We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Machinist to join our growing team in a job shop environment producing low-to-medium volume, high-mix parts to tight tolerances. This role is ideal for someone with strong machining fundamentals, blueprint-reading skills, and experience holding quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

No CNC Experience Required

CNC Machinist

This role is ideal for someone with strong machining fundamentals, blueprint-reading skills, and experience holding quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Set up and operate CNC and/or manual mills and lathes
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
- Machine parts to required tolerances and quality standards
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and indicators
- Make tooling offsets and basic program adjustments
- Troubleshoot issues and work with supervisors and engineers
- Maintain documentation, inspection records, and a clean, safe work area
- 2 years of machinist experience in a machine shop or job shop preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Experience with CNC and/or manual machining
- Familiarity with steel, aluminum, stainless, and plastics
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience with G-code, ERP systems, or quality systems such as ISO/AS9100 is a plus
