Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nanny/Household Manager to provide exceptional childcare and household support within a private home environment. This role combines nurturing childcare with efficient household management, ensuring a safe, organized, and loving atmosphere for children of various ages. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating a positive and stimulating environment for children while maintaining household operations seamlessly. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a family's daily life through attentive caregiving and household oversight. We also have a mini labradoodle that will need to be taken to physical therapy while the kids are at school
Duties
- Provide attentive childcare for children across different age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's dietary needs and preferences, incorporating meal planning and preparation skills.
- Assist with preschool activities, educational play, and developmental milestones to foster growth and curiosity.
- Manage household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, organizing toys and supplies, and maintaining a tidy living environment.
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by implementing personalized care routines and working closely with healthcare providers when necessary.
- Offer personal transportation assistance for school drop-offs, appointments, or extracurricular activities to ensure punctuality and safety.
- Take care of our dog, blue, and take him to appointments. Sometimes he does go to our office as he is a service dog.
- Administer basic first aid and CPR when needed, responding promptly to emergencies with confidence and professionalism.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in private home settings or daycare environments.
- Strong background in nannying with multiple children or toddlers, including infant care.
- Knowledge of childcare best practices, developmental stages, and age-appropriate activities.
- Skilled in residential housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, organizing, and maintaining household cleanliness standards.
- Ability to cook healthy meals for children and family members while adhering to dietary restrictions if applicable.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs to provide inclusive care.
- Valid certifications in first aid and CPR; ongoing commitment to safety protocols.
- Reliable personal transportation assistance skills to support family schedules efficiently.
