JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform BASIC preventative maintenance inspection and service on all production and manufacturing equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company guidelines.
- Perform BASIC troubleshooting, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of equipment to the desired company's performance standards.
- Interface, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electronic computerized systems and equipment
- Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset, assisting in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Comply with all company work and safety rules, regulatory compliance rules, and regulations.
- Use all personal protective equipment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Possess the necessary personal tools to perform duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training in manufacturing equipment maintenance and repair; or equivalent combination of continued education and experience.
Other Functions:
- Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.
- Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend with a full range of body motion.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
- Must be able to work independently and/or on a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving are required.
Preferred but not required:
- Experience with basic electrical systems (e.g., starters, fuses, contacts, relays).
- Experience with conveyors (air cylinders, diverters, sensors, motor/speed controls).
- Experience with electrical systems (installation, frequency drive, troubleshooting).
- Experience with electronics (e.g., level probes, flow meters, drives/VFDs, etc.).
- Experience with gearing and gearboxes (rebuilds, ordering parts, machining parts).
- Experience with hydraulic systems (high-pressure cylinders, pumps, valves, troubleshooting).
- Experience with kinematics (e.g., line speed/sprocket size ratios, etc.).
- Review rating instructions.
- Experience with packaging/high-speed production (e.g., bottling, consumer products, etc.).
- Experience with pneumatics (solenoids, cylinders, motor brakes, reading, troubleshooting).
- Experience with pneumatics/air compression (e.g., valves, cylinders, etc.).
- Experience with preventative maintenance (computerized preventative charts/data).
- Experience with pumps (e.g., troubleshooting, replacing seals/motors, understanding specs).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- PLC, HVAC, Ammonia, Refrigeration, or other specialty certifications preferred but not required.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to work in hot and cold climates, both indoors and outdoors.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend.
- Must be able to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; and occasionally 75 pounds.
- Must be able to work for extended periods in a cold, damp environment.
Salary : $28 - $30
