Visual Communications Strategist

Key Role:

Deliver a wide range of media presentations or products to support the client. Design graphical products using tools such as Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite, to depict the full-spectrum of mission-related services and concepts to visitors, senior leadership, media, and the public, as directed. Interpret the client’s vision, strategy, and policies to build the visual graphic translating the ideas and concepts into graphical representation. Develop and create images such as organizational diagrams and logos, as well as visualizations of DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), or cyberspace operating concepts that enable better understanding of complex ideas. Create concepts from start to finish in a collaborative environment with attention to detail. Display initiative and creativity in designs, layouts, and displays.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience developing and creating images, diagrams, and visualizations
• Experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience supporting DoD, IC, or Department of Navy (DON) clients or senior military leadership
• Experience working closely with General Officers or Flag Officers in high tempo operational environments
• Ability to think critically and interpret and translate verbal ideas and concepts into visual communications and graphics
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of experience in graphic design, or 11 years of experience in graphic design in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

• TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
