The Opportunity:

As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to conducting design and integration of advanced sensors and weapons on United States Navy vessels. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to assist with installing and testing state-of-the-art electro-optical systems and directed energy weapons.

Our team provides engineering services support to the Navy. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer with previous experience conducting sensor and weapons system integration and testing to help us design, develop, and control directed energy weapons.

You Have:

• 5 years of experience with electrical hardware and software design, including PCB design, embedded controls, and electrical component troubleshooting

• 5 years of experience with prototype, design, and test methodologies

• 5 years of experience with United States Navy gun weapon systems and controls

• Experience integrating prototype sensors on United States Navy vessels

• Knowledge of United States Navy shipboard electric power distribution and control systems

• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with Naval Surface Warfare Center operations

• Top Secret clearance

• Program Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,500.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
