What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enterprise Architect position at Booz Allen?
Key Role:
Design enterprise architecture (EA) to enable strategic or tactical transformations through informed decision-making at any level of an enterprise to support governance, future growth, adaptability, optimization, innovation, and modernization initiatives such as cloud and digital solutions. Apply advanced skills or extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience performing analysis of existing capability architectures and their modelling at enterprise level, including identification of gaps, overlaps, and dependencies among capabilities and programs
- 5 years of experience with hands-on development of business, application, and technology architectures, using professional modelling tools such as Sparx, ARIS, and BizzDesign, in accordance with TOGAF or architectural frameworks such as Zachman, DoDAF, and UAF
- 5 years of experience presenting complex architectures in an easily understandable and accessible way to non-technical audiences
- Experience with ArchiMate notation
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or Business Management
- Enterprise Architecture Methodologies and Frameworks Certification such as TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF, or UAF Certification
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience producing NATO Architecture Framework (NAF) perspectives in support to capability design and requirement definition as well as to enterprise and portfolio management
- Experience coordinating DOTMLPFI development and implementation synchronization, and supporting the development of recommended courses of action to resolve issues relating to capability development
- Experience facilitating and preparing workshops
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
