Join our dynamic team as a Federal Construction Project Manager/Estimator, where you will lead and coordinate complex construction projects primarily for federal clients. This role offers a blend of remote work and on-site visits to project locations, ensuring seamless project execution from inception to completion. You will leverage your expertise in construction estimating, project management, and site supervision to deliver high-quality results that meet stringent federal standards. Your proactive approach and technical proficiency will drive project success while maintaining safety, compliance, and budget adherence.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed construction estimates utilizing industry-standard software such as HeavyBid, Bluebeam, and Construction estimating tools.
- Manage all phases of federal construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation using Primavera P6 and other project management software.
- Conduct site visits to oversee construction activities, verify work quality, ensure safety protocols are followed, and address any issues promptly.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication and project flow.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation including schedules, progress reports, change orders, and safety records.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and standards while managing project timelines and budgets effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction management or estimating within federal or heavy civil projects.
- Strong proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and related tools.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of contracts, procurement processes, and regulatory compliance specific to federal projects.
- Excellent project scheduling skills with a focus on time management and resource coordination.
- Site visit experience in heavy civil or infrastructure construction environments is highly preferred.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
