Job Description: Area Manager – Boost Mobile by KG Premier (Multi-Unit Leadership)

Boost Mobile by KG Premier is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Area Manager to lead, develop, and strategically manage a territory of six retail store locations.

More than just managing a store, you will be the driving force behind the regional success of KG Premier, connecting customers with essential wireless technology, ensuring operational excellence across your territory, and developing a high-performing team of Store Managers and staff. What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Lead, motivate, and coach a team to meet and exceed all assigned regional sales, operational, and financial goals.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies to drive market share and overall performance across the territory.
  • Oversee all daily operations for the locations, including adherence to scheduling, inventory management, cash handling, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Regularly conduct site visits to ensure a consistent, outstanding customer experience, brand integrity, and operational compliance in every store.
  • Actively participate in the recruitment, hiring, training, and development of all Store Managers, providing ongoing coaching and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards across the region.

What You’ll Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • 3 years of prior retail management experience, with at least 1 year of proven multi-unit/area management experience, preferably in the wireless or electronics industry.
  • Demonstrated success in leading, coaching, and developing Store Managers and sales teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing a regional P&L, budget, and labor costs.
  • Advanced proficiency with computers, software, Microsoft products, and POS systems.
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer and company information.
  • Exceptional operational, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • High school diploma/GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred.
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time throughout a shift.
  • Must be able to move and/or lift up to 20 pounds.
  • This position requires regular travel throughout the assigned territory to visit all six retail locations.
  • Employees must be able to talk and hear, be detail-oriented, and maintain clear communication.
  • Employees must maintain a calm and positive attitude daily while at work.
  • Employees must be versatile and possess full mobility to assist in all operational aspects, including merchandising, packing, inventory management, phone bar setup, and pricing displays. Being a mobile, key team player in a wireless environment is a must.
