Overview
Job Summary:
Assists with long term monitoring vital to patient care in the observation of patients with cardiac arrhythmia, suspected arrhythmia, drug intervention per floor with need for observation, and potential of life threatening cardiac events. Initiates first response and responders to at risk patients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supports and demonstrates the continuous improvements of quality and service.
- Observes, reports, and documents patient‘s cardiac rhythm.
- Ensures that cardiac monitoring equipment is functioning appropriately.
- BHC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
- Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: None Required
- Supervisor Experience: None Required
- Licenses & Certification: None Required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience: <2 Years
- Licenses & Certification: ECG Rhythm Interpretation
