- TWO SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
- 10 Hours, 4 Days per Week:
- 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., or
- 8 Hours, 5 Days per Week:
- 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Vascular experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Stress Echocardiography, Transesophageal Echocardiography, and IV Contrast is preferred, though training is available.

Overview
Job Summary
The Registered Diagnostic Sonographer II performs ultrasound procedures, including but not limited to abdominal, small parts, and obstetrical, to adult and pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders, and assist with needle procedures (i.e., biopsies, drainages, needle placements, etc.). May also perform vascular procedures.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs ultrasound imaging examinations.
- Performs studies independently in the Operating Room and or portable exams as required by the work area.
- Maintains equipment and supplies.
- Ensures proper documentation of procedures.
- Collaborates with Radiologist and medical staff for diagnosis.
- Boone Health has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
- Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Degree: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 2-6 Years
- Supervisor Experience: None Required
- License/Certifications: 2 Credentials or 3 Applicable Certifications
- BLS required within first 30 day of employment
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree: Associate Degree – Sonography
