Overview
Job Summary:
To participate in the development and execution of a health program for Boone Health’s service area and employees. This includes, but is not limited to, providing flu shots, health screenings and health education for Boone Health’s service area, employees and corporate health partners. Flexible hours with most hours in the fall and spring. Could include travel to various locations in the Boone Health service area.
Job Responsibilities:
Health education for public, corporate and employee communities, including the recording and reporting of activities.
Administer health screenings including A1C, cholesterol, BMI, skin cancer, etc.
Administer flu vaccinations and other vaccinations when needed.
Work with other members of the Community Health team to create a comprehensive health program.
Develop health challenges and presentations for public, corporate and employee communities.
Performs Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Degrees: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: 2-5 years
Supervisor Experience: None
Licenses & Certifications: LPN, Valid Driver’s License
Must remain auto insurable based upon the guidelines of Boone Health’s insurer
Preferred Qualifications:
Degrees: Bachelor Degree in Nursing
Experience: 5-10 years
Supervisor Experience: 5-10 years
Licenses & Certifications: RN
