Position Information:
Boone County Family Resources is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of part-time Residential RN in our residential program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Residential RN is responsible for:
- Developing a rapport with residents and cultivating a safe and supportive relationship
- Conducting Missouri Health Risk Screening Tool (HRST) related duties, including, but not limited to, the scheduling of meetings, data collection, facilitating annual HRST meetings, and completing necessary follow-up communication and paperwork.
- Teaching L1MA classes in accordance with DMH policies.
- Ensuring that specialized instruction/delegation regarding identified tasks is provided and documented.
- Completing monthly ongoing assessments of health statuses to ensure timely and effective interventions in preventative and/or maintenance healthcare.
- Reviewing medical care forms and subsequent lab results, ensuring tests that are ordered have been completed, and having good professional communication with Site Managers and Site Supervisors to allow for quality continuity of care.
- Attending Individual Plan Meetings/Team Meetings for high-risk individuals, as assigned.
- Keeping Annual Medical Review file up to date for each individual served.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in the state of Missouri in good standing.
- Successfully complete the Residential RN Orientation Training and all other training and certification required by the Department of Mental Health for Community RNs.
- Experience working directly with persons with developmental disabilities.
- Ability to effectively present job-related information, and respond to common inquiries and complaints, orally and in writing, including but not limited to, staff, individuals served, family members, guardians, and regulatory Agencies.
- Possess computer skill proficiency with an ability to enter information into an electronic record system.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
- May require prolonged periods of standing, bending, or walking.
Schedule: The Residential RN will work a minimum of 20 and up to 32 hours a week, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be needed based on the individual served or staff needs.

Salary: Starting at $30/hour. Eligible for merit-based raises at 6 months, 1 year, and annually thereafter.
