Senior Connections, formerly Boone County Council on Aging, seeks a dedicated Bus Operator to provide safe and efficient transportation services. This role involves operating agency vehicles, assisting passengers, maintaining accurate records, and promoting good community relations.
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. A minimum of two years' work experience performing transportationoperator duties preferred. You are required to have a valid driver's license with a clean record, fluent English proficiency, and ability to handle physical demands of the job. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus. These will include the ability to assist passengers, handle wheelchairs, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and frequently stand, walk and ascend and descend bus steps.
You must pass DMV pre-employment and annual checks, medical examiner’s certificate of completion of DOT physical exam and submit to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
