Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Assistant, located in West Palm Beach, FL. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for ongoing support and documentation of the companies activities, as well as supporting executives on ongoing projects and responsibilities. This will include managing capital calls, accounts payables and receivables, ongoing compliance costs, and other daily transactions. Additionally, the Accounting Assistant will be responsible for reconciliation and review of various company reports & datasets. The role will include both verification activities as well as exploratory analyses to support tightening efficiencies. Daily there will be opportunities to build workflows using MS Office and related tech platforms within various portfolio companies which can directly impact the company and roll out at scale.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Quickbooks
- Experience with any accounting software and bookkeeping practices.
- Knowledge of fundamental Finance operations and reporting.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Proficiency in working with C-Suite executives and Operating Partners.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in an accounting, finance, or executive support role is an advantage.
