EARLY CHILDHOOD UPK TEACHER (IMMEDIATE HIRE!)

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and dependable Universal Pre-K (UPK) Teacher to join our early childhood education program. The ideal candidate will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment where young children can learn, explore, and develop important social, emotional, and academic skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and lessons.
• Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Observe and document children's development and progress.
• Follow the UPK curriculum and program requirements.
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and staff.
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other classroom staff.
• Maintain required classroom records and documentation.
• Follow all health, safety, licensing, and program policies.

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool-age children preferred.
• Early childhood education experience or relevant education/certification preferred.
• Must be dependable, patient, nurturing, and professional.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive and positive learning environment.
• Must be NYS Certified with Birth-2 grade General Education Certification

We are community-based childcare centers that provide optimum care for children in an environment of guidance love and support.
