Operations Manager/Owner - Bookstore
Job Description
Book Cranny Bookstore in the heart of Olde Town Arvada has been serving the community for over 15 years. We are a customer oriented small used bookstore that also carries new books and gift items. We are looking for an individual who can quickly learn all our store procedures and after a short part-time training period become the full-time operations manager. Ideally this person would be interested in becoming a bookstore owner and would transition into this role. Prior experience in a bookstore or library or equivalent is required. Candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit as position develops into a managerial position involving all aspects of small business. Pay according to relevant experience and demonstrated abilities.
Daily store operations include:
· assisting customers and book sales
· store appearance (shelving, organizing, tidying up)
· climbing ladders, bending, lifting boxes ( 35 lb )
· maintaining online presence and marketing
· processing of incoming books
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
