What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Internship position at Bonvenu Bank?
Information Technology is an integral tool in banking that oversees network infrastructure, servers, and server-based applications while managing user accounts and permissions in operating systems.
- Provides Helpdesk support by telephone, email or any other source.
- Provides support for end user hardware including but not limited to workstations, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and scanners, and VoIP phone system including configuration, installation, troubleshooting and repair.
- Provides support for bank approved software or web-based applications including installation, configuration, troubleshooting and repair.
- Documents all requests for work in IT ticketing system.
- Develops and maintains inventory of laptops and workstations and peripheral devices associated with them.
- Adds, removes and maintains workstation/laptop equipment in active directory, antivirus, and software updates systems.
- Assigns and maintains the network IP addresses.
- Provides password resets, changes, and unlock assistance with all applications managed by the IT Department.
- Performs other duties as required
