This law firm outperforms the others in their litigation practice!

A top notch global law firm is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to joint their team, either in Washington, DC or NY.

· Hybrid schedule (3 days in, 2 days WFH); must be available to travel to trial.

Responsibilities:

· Preparing affidavits, legal correspondence, and other documents for attorneys.

· Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system.

· Perform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics, etc.)

· Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes

· Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices

· Filing pleadings with court clerk

· Attend trial/arbitration, liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties, provide admin support as needed

Requirements:

· 3-8 years of litigation paralegal experience, at least 1 year in big law.

· Bachelor’s degree required

• Must have at least one in-court trial experience

· Must be available for overtime work and intermittent travel for trial

· Must be able to function effectively independently

· Proficient with Microsoft Office, Excel, Relativity, and PowerPoint

· Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong understanding of litigation process from commencement of action, discovery, trial court to appeal.
