About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Permits Coordinator to manage permitting activities across multiple jurisdictions. This role ensures project teams receive timely approvals by preparing accurate documentation, tracking applications, coordinating with municipalities, and maintaining clear communication with internal stakeholders.

What You'll Do
- Prepare, submit, and track permit applications for residential and/or commercial projects.
- Review project documentation to ensure all required information is complete and compliant.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with city/county permitting offices and inspectors.
- Stay current on permitting requirements, timelines, and code changes across relevant jurisdictions.
- Communicate permit status updates to customers, internal teams, and municipalities.
- Organize and maintain digital and physical records of permits, plans, and correspondence.
- Coordinate scheduling of inspections and ensure required documentation is available on time.
- Troubleshoot delays or rejections by resolving discrepancies or gathering additional information as needed.
- Support process improvements that enhance speed, accuracy, and compliance in the permitting workflow.
- Other duties as assigned by the needs of the Company.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in permitting, construction administration, project coordination, or a related role preferred.
- Strong understanding of municipal permitting processes is beneficial but not required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational habits.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Comfortable learning various municipal portals and digital submission systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and document management tools.
