General Description
This position is responsible for clerical duties within the Shipping departments. Main duties will include generating Certified Material Test Reports and shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, etc. This position is first shift position with main hours of 8-5pm.
Essential Job Functions And Duties
Generate Certified Material Test Reports for shipping orders. Help maintain the material certification system by entering new data and general maintenance of the system. (70%)
Generate required shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, etc. Help with other general shipping office functions. (10%)
Provide support to the quality and shipping department with project work and other clerical duties. (15%)
Participate in quality audits (2.5%)
Participate in organizational meetings on quality and shipping related issues (2.5%)
Job Specifications
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate clearly with other employees
Proficient organizational, written and oral presentation skills
Must be computer literate, and general knowledge of Microsoft Office
Proficient problem solving and mathematical skills
High School Diploma plus experience in Quality Control Processes preferred
