What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Construction - Wall Framer position at BonnaVilla?
Construction and assembly of exterior walls in accordance with required specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform the required procedures of framing and paneling the exterior walls.
- Basic knowledge and the ability to use staple & nail guns, power tools, hand tools measuring devices, hoists and other equipment as required by the specific job.
- Build headers per print by nailing together with insulation inside.
- Cut jack studs to required length based on print.
- Put headers and jack assembly on table and nail together.
- Cut bottom sill plate and install in window assembly.
- Install insulation in-between studs.
- Glue and cover with OSB and staple in place.
- Glue and cover with sheetrock and screw in place.
- Raise wall into rack.
Education:
- High School Diploma, or GED, preferred.
