What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leadperson Production position at Bonnavilla?
Leadperson must be able to oversee the daily operations of the department while maintaining production goals as set by Management. This person must be able to tactfully coordinate his/her department in a manner to promote safety and quality standards, as well as aid in the development of all employees under his/her leadership.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop new employees, as well as current employees
- Hold employees accountable for their work.
- Have a high regard for quality work.
- Promote teamwork in their area and with all other departments.
- Understanding of blueprints, production orders and the ability to layout and build product accurately
- from them.
- Must be able to use staple & nail guns, power tools, hand tools, measuring devices and other equipment as required by the specific job.
Education:
- High School Diploma, or GED, preferred

Experience
Preferred- Must be accountable for promoting a save working environment and quality in the department.
- This position is required to have the knowledge and ability to perform testing and quality control checks on construction operations.
- Knowledge of the reading of a tape measure and of blueprint reading.
- Experience in construction methods and the use of a large variety of construction tools is required.
