A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ARTISAN PIZZA & FLATBREAD COOK:
As a Part-Time Artisan Pizza & Flatbread Cook, you fill our need for a certain skill set as you create our delicious pizza and flatbreads! You ensure that we are meeting the goal of providing our members with consistent, well-prepared, and divine cuisine. You're busy every shift preparing doughs, hand-tossing, forming, and baking pizzas and flatbreads in our open-flame pizza oven! You are an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and disciplined individual who does their best in every task and happily helps other team members. JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of experience in a pizza-focused restaurant setting
- Ability to work under pressure and be consistent
- Proficient in basic mathematical calculations
- Ability to work a variable schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to meet physical requirements and work in conditions typical of this position
- Certification of culinary training or secondary-level education is preferred, but not required.
