What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Foreman position at Bonick Landscaping?
- Position involves the supervision of workers on all maintenance clients
- You must be able to operate mowers, line trimmers, edgers and hedge trimmers.
- Expertise and/or experience in the following areas are not required for the position but they are definitely a plus:
- Plant Identification
- Insect and Disease Identification
- Softscape Installation
- Irrigation
- Work under the Garden Managers to oversee the production of a multiple task environment
- Coordinate, implement, and supervise all phases of property management
- Instruct, evaluate, and train employees to perform proper maintenance practices and adhere to company policies and safety practices
- Develop & maintain good working relations with other departments to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout the entire project.
- Attend weekly departmental meetings
- Maintain efficiency and Bonick quality for every property
- Lead by example, encourage teamwork, and promote the Bonick philosophy
- Ability to coordinate crew paperwork and time sheets daily
- Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of plant care methods and techniques
- Working knowledge of the equipment, tools and labor needed to accomplish work
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills
- Must be able to lift 50lbs or more
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal, prefer bi-lingual skills
