This position conducts site visits, performs diagnostics on fiber and related hardware, and ensures systems meet performance, safety, and quality standards. The technician documents work performed, maintains accurate service records, and communicates clearly with customers, internal engineering teams, and project managers to resolve issues efficiently. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating service schedules, providing technical guidance to junior technicians, adhering to industry best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement of field processes and customer experience.

- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple service tickets, prioritize tasks, and work independently in remote field environments.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including mentoring less-experienced technicians and contributing to team training and process improvements.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required to customer sites and project locations.
- Relevant technical certification or vocational training in telecommunications, networking, or a related field; prior experience in broadband or fiber operations is highly beneficial.
