Overview
The Assistant Director ensures programmatic systems are in place to meet the clients’ safety and service needs. The Assistant Director supervises Social Workers, Case Managers, and Case Associates.
Responsibilities
- Clinical and administrative oversight of the program
- Providing provides on-going training, supervision, and guidance to the staff.
- Knowledgeable of regulatory requirements and agency policy/standards, and practices.
- Provides program oversight in the absence of the Program Director
- Participates/Performs annual staff evaluations
Qualifications
- LMSW or a Master’s degree in a closely related field will be considered, depending on range of candidate’s experience
- Prior experience with domestic violence population.
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience required.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and collaboration skills
- Solution Focused
- Administrative writing and reporting skills
