Position OverviewBond Health is currently hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time Day Program opportunity.
This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse who is passionate about supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a non-clinical, community-based setting. The RN will oversee health services, provide staff education, maintain compliance with applicable regulations, and help promote the overall health, safety, and well-being of the individuals supported.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Provide nursing services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Maintain accurate medical records and health documentation.
Communicate important health information to staff, families, and members of the interdisciplinary team.
Train staff in OSHA standards, First Aid, medication support, and health and safety procedures.
Perform nursing assessments, evaluations, and therapeutic interventions in accordance with professional nursing standards and applicable regulations.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and annual reviews.
Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), AMAP staff, and other direct care personnel as appropriate.
Promote a safe, healthy, and person-centered environment for all individuals served.
Provide nursing oversight for multiple Day Program locations as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current CPR certification required (or willingness to obtain certification).
Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and supervise clinical support staff.
Monday through Friday daytime schedule.
