PRICING & REBATE OPTIMIZATION ANALYST

About the Role:

The Pricing & Rebate Optimization Analyst plays a critical role in maximizing profitability and competitive positioning within the retail trade sector by analyzing pricing strategies and rebate programs. This position involves leveraging data analytics to identify opportunities for price adjustments and rebate optimizations that align with business objectives and market trends. Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or 3-5 years in related field.
• Proven experience in pricing analysis, rebate management, or a similar analytical role within retail or a related industry.
• Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and statistical software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
• Effective communication skills to clearly present insights and collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4 YEAR degree with a focus on analytics, finance, or marketing, or 3-5 years experience in related field
• Experience with pricing optimization software or advanced analytics platforms (e.g., Python, R, Tableau).
• Familiarity with retail trade dynamics and competitive pricing strategies.
• Knowledge of rebate program design and financial impact assessment.
• Project management experience and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate rebate programs and promotional offers to assess their impact on sales volume, profitability, and customer behavior.
• Develop pricing models and forecasting tools to support strategic pricing decisions and rebate allocations.

• Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
